Rules of procedure

We are delighted to welcome you to Les Charmes du Lac.

It is however necessary to remember some rules specific to our romantic accommodation.

A gite, or tourist accommodation, is not a place freely open to the public. In our case, it is a family that welcomes you to their home. This is why we invite you to take advantage of all the places of life at your disposal in the conviviality and the respect of the intimacy of each one. You also cannot bring your family or friends there even if you rent the accommodation in its entirety.

Arrivals :

In order to be able to welcome you in the best possible conditions, your reception will be made from 5 p.m. on the day of your arrival and until 7 p.m. Late or early arrivals, (for example, to drop off luggage in order to be able to visit the neighborhood), are subject to prior agreement. If necessary, an autonomous arrival procedure can be put in place after prior agreement.

Departures :

On the last day, departures late for noon are offered. Not being professionals in the hotel industry, we must be able to have the time necessary to offer people who then arrive the most welcoming accommodation possible and respect the health instructions in force.

The breakfasts:

Your "superior" breakfast (included in weekend nights (Friday and Saturday, optional in the others)): hot drinks, pastries, fresh bread, jams, fresh fruit juice, yogurt, ham and cheese ) will be served to you at the time that will have been agreed in advance.

The host table:

If you wish to dine (in the form of savory/sweet planchas), the evening of your arrival, or during your stay, do not forget to let us know when you make your reservation, or inform us no later than 72 hours at advance. Remember to report any food allergies.

Housing

Our accommodation has been decorated and prepared with care to allow each guest to feel good there.

We invite you to take care of this living space in which you will stay. Other visitors will follow you and enjoy the places as you did.

Furniture, bedding, paintings, trinkets, bathroom, and access to the spa are there -136bad5cf58d_ to contribute to your well-being during your stay. By respecting places and objects, you respect us.

It is of course not recommended to eat in the room. Any thing soiled or damaged voluntarily will be subject to financial compensation by yourselves. Thank you for making good use of everything we provide to make your stay comfortable.

For obvious security reasons, the use of incandescent candles is strictly prohibited throughout the accommodation.

In your accommodation you will find:

a flat screen HD TV with a USB port. TNT, Netflix, Youtube channels.
two courtesy trays including a kettle/coffee machine, accompanied by coffee, tea and herbal tea
a hair dryer.
bath towels and bathrobes
a fitted and equipped kitchen
books, magazines and games.
Customers have free access to the internet connection of the owner (interior exterior), without paying any direct consideration. You acknowledge using the wifi internet connection (FREEBOX-LesCharmesDuLac).

Limit of use. You agree not to use this connection later, nor to transmit or communicate the access codes to anyone. Access is only possible in areas covered by wifi.

You declare on your honor not to use the connection for activities or for reprehensible, immoral purposes: in particular to send, receive or access illegal content under French law. In particular with regard to the rules relating to intellectual property and cybercrime. The use of peer to peer software is strictly prohibited. You are solely responsible for your use of your equipment, or its activities on our network.

In the event of a dispute or investigation, we may transmit your personal information to the competent persons, which you hereby accept.

Network responsibility. You agree to incur the risks associated with the use of a wifi network and an internet connection, you are advised to increase the level of protection of your firewall and your antivirus.

We thank you in advance for your understanding and cooperation.

Reservations are made primarily through the “AirBnB” platform. However, if you wish to carry out the latter “directly”, a deposit of 800€ (not cashed) will be requested upon your arrival. The check will be destroyed (with proof of destruction sent), once the cleaning has been carried out by me after your departure and if no damage is observed. In the opposite case, all or part of the amount of the check will be kept according to the amount of the damage suffered. A photocopy of both sides of your valid identity documents must be attached to the deposit check.

Terms of cancelation

Cancellation conditions after “direct” booking : refund of the deposit up to 10 days before the date of arrival. No refund can be demanded if the cancellation occurs within 10 days prior to your arrival unless you present medical proof or a positive PCR test. You will be offered a postponement to a later date.

General provisions :

In compliance with Decree No. 2006-1386 of November 15, 2006, it is forbidden to smoke in places for collective use. The entire accommodation is therefore non-smoking.

As part of the protection of minors, the sale of alcohol is prohibited to minors under 18 years of age.

We ask our residents to present a decent dress on all occasions, and to be dressed and shod when moving around in the common outdoor areas.

The customer agrees to respect all interior and exterior spaces. You also agree to return the accommodation in perfect condition at the end of the stay and to declare, and assume financially, any possible damage for which you may be responsible.

Thefts and accidents:

The owner declines all responsibility in the event of theft or bodily injury occurring in the property.

Spa rules:

The spa is strictly reserved for “tenants” and owners of the accommodation. You therefore do not have the possibility of inviting a casual acquaintance there.

Stay of 3 nights or more: a maintenance visit will be necessary during your stay (5 minutes). We will agree on a “visit” time slot together.

Breakdown and/or malfunction: despite all the attention and care given to our accommodation and our equipment, we are unfortunately not immune to a breakdown or malfunction_cc781905-5cde-3194-bb3b- 136bad5cf58d_ rendering the jacuzzi unusable. If such a situation should occur, of course we undertake to warn you as soon as possible, two alternatives would then be available to you:

Spa usage:

As the spa is a “private” spa, its use is reserved solely for members of the owners’ family and people staying at Les Charmes du Lake.
– Children are not allowed to access the spa area.

The use of the spa is not recommended for pregnant women as well as for people with heart, kidney, blood or blood pressure problems.

– Spa users undertake:
•    to take a shower before bathing and not to bathe after using body cream or oil.
•    to use a swimsuit reserved for swimming only.
•    the spa area is open to residents throughout your stay, we decline all responsibility in the event of non-use.
•    all spa users must be covered by civil liability defense and recourse insurance.
•    the owner, on repeated breaches of one of the articles, can withdraw the authorization of access to the spa area that he has previously granted without compensation whatsoever.

Our residents are required to refrain from any action that could harm the neighborhood. Also, from 10 p.m. we ask you to adjust the sound equipment accordingly.

To make your stay even more pleasant, we provide you with two bicycles. The use of these is under your entire responsibility. You must use the anti-theft device made available to you each time you stop unsupervised. Any damage, loss or theft will be subject to compensation.

Animals :

For the comfort and tranquility of all, we regret that we cannot accommodate animals in our accommodation. In the event of non-compliance with this clause, “Les Charmes du Lac” will refuse the animal(s). This refusal can in no way be considered as a modification or a cancellation of the reservation so that no refund can be considered.

Eco-tourism:

The owners of Les Charmes du Lac are sensitive to the safeguard of our planet and wish to contribute to the protection of the environment by minimizing the footprint of the operation of its reception structure.

Simple and few measures constraints can do a lot.

We are therefore counting on your collaboration to:

avoid leaving lights on unnecessarily,
do not let the water run and moderate the flow during showers,
we ask you to throw only toilet paper in the toilets, the other waste having a bin provided for this purpose,
avoid using all the towels provided to you if you do not really need them.
